I joined the department in 2019 as a British Academy postdoctoral fellow. My fellowship project “Renormalization: a Philosophical Study” traces the conceptual development of renormalization theory in post-war physics and assesses its implications for debates about scientific realism and emergence in the philosophy of science. Before joining Durham I completed a PhD in philosophy at the University of Leeds and held postdoctoral positions at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, the University of Pittsburgh and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
