Biography
Chris has been a member of the Design & Imaging Unit since 1996 and provides a service to the Department of Geography, other Durham University departments as well as external clients. He has expertise in Cartography, Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing and Digital Imaging.
His main areas of work include topographic and thematic mapping; illustration for text books and academic reports; design of visuals for teaching materials; the design and layout of research proposals; the design and production of reports and departmental publicity material and the design and production of large format displays. Other work includes photographic scanning, compositing and retouching.
