A talk and viewing of Dali's prints with curator Alix Collingwood Swinburn

In 1950 Salvador Dali created lithographs for Dante’s epic poem The Divine Comedy. Meet Art Curator, Alix Collingwood, to view Durham University’s copy of this surrealists interpretation and find out more about the process Dali went through in creating these memorable works.

 

This workshop has been programmed for Durham University’s Art Prize Art School, designed to inspire students to apply to the Student Art Prize under the theme of Paradise. This workshop is open to all, including member of the public, DU staff and non DU students.

 

Due to the historic nature of 5 the College the building is not accessible as we would like it to be. There are a number of steps at the front of the building leading to a large wooden door, another flight of stairs leads to the research room.
