What Makes a Great Artist Session Information

Downwards view of a table covered with bottles of paint, two blue trays filled with different colours of paint swirled together with paint brushes and straws lying in them and a completed artwork made of straws and card in the shape of a heart.

Find out about artists such as Andy Warhol, Barbara Hepworth, Bridget Riley and the Guerrilla Girls. Create repeat patterns like Warhol and Riley, learn to express opinions like the Guerrilla Girls, sketch like Norman Cornish or sculpt like Hepworth. Pick an artist from our collection and we can teach your class the rest.

These sessions can be taught:

  • as a half day outreach session in your school
  • as a one-hour online session

The content of these sessions does vary, but we try to keep them as similar as possible.
