Diwali Festival 2022

On Saturday 5 November 2022, 6-8pm we will be celebrating Diwali at the Oriental Museum. Information to book your tickets for the in person event will be posted on our website and social media shortly. There will be limited availble tickets due to safety restrictions to ensure all visitors and staff remain safe on the evening.

Alongside our event, this website contains all you need to celebrate with the Oriental Museum and our wonderful team of community volunteers to bring Diwali 2021 to life. This includes videos of traditional children's storytelling, tasty recipes to try at home, craft ideas and activities and much more. Please share your personal Diwali experiences using the #diwali2022 so we can all join in the celebrations!

We would like to thank all our community partners, university partners and volunteers who always make Diwali at the Oriental Museum a possibility.
