Mapping the past

Geography, Key Stage 2

Students use maps and other documents from the archives to gain an understanding of how and why an area changes over time. They then choose a period and plan a guided tour of the locality for a visitor.

Half day Palace Green Library

To tie in with our special exhibition we have created a special session that focuses on Antarctica. During the day a focus will be placed on the habitat, the work of early explorers in helping us understand Antarctica and the impact of climate change.
