Jack and the Lost Beanstalk

Jack has lost his magic bean but still needs to reach the land of the giants. This session encourages children to explore the Botanic Garden, learn about different environments and discover what plants need to grow. Pupils will also get the chance to plant their own (non magic) bean to grow back at school.

Marvellous Minibeasts

What is a habitat? How do animals and plants depend on each other? This session allows children to explore a wide variety of habitats from meadow to woodland, from river banks to tropical climates and learn more about the habitats of insects and other minibeasts. Pupils will get the chance to get hands on with some of our mini beasts and go hunting for their own.
