We offer an exciting programme of education visits and learning resources for a range of subjects and Key Stages using the collections of Durham University’s Oriental Museum, Botanic Garden, Palace Green Library, Museum of Archaeology, Art Collection and Durham Castle.
At the Oriental Museum we handled real Ancient Egyptian artefacts and saw a real mummy!”

We offer collections centred workshops for a range of key stages and abilities both at our venues and in your school. Pupils can get involved in gallery trails, drama workshops, craft activities, as well as handling objects from our outstanding collections.

We welcome sixth form students to use resources at Durham University's Bill Bryson Library and offer workshops looking at primary sources from our Archives and Special Collections.
