Review literature

Finding a good review paper can save a lot of time when doing a literature search. They often provide comprehensive accounts of the development of, and current trends in, a subject, together with extensive bibliographies. It is often possible to limit database searches just to reviews. In addition, some journals specialize in reviews and typically have titles beginning Advances in..., Annual Review of..., Developments in..., Reviews in... etc. These are shelved with the other physics journals on Level 3 of the Bill Bryson Library at 53(05).
