NEW Study break cards at the Library!

(12 February 2018)

From Monday 12 February, the Bill Bryson Library and Queen’s Campus Library are introducing study break cards to enable students to take regular breaks while making good use of study space and being respectful of all users’ needs.

Study spaces are in high-demand, particularly towards the end of Epiphany Term and throughout Easter Term. Using the study break card allows you to take a break and leave your belongings at your desk for up to 45 minutes. You just have to write the time you leave in one of the blank spaces on the card. If you stay away longer than 45 minutes and another student needs the desk, your belongings may be removed by a Library staff member.

Study break cards can be collected at the Help and Information desk and at the borrowing machines on each floor. Please retain your card for further use up to six times or, if unused, leave it in one of the collection boxes.
