Library Café

Library Café reopens in a new, larger, location. The Catering and Library team proudly bring to you a new coffee concept; Small Island Coffee. This name links into the heritage of Bill Bryson referencing one of his best selling books! With coffee at the heart of this brand we introduce a new partnership with a local supplier called Rounton Coffee Roasters who are based in Northallerton. They believe in treating coffee with care and appreciation and are dedicated to providing coffees which are traded sustainably and taste delicious. You will see some familiar faces in Small Island team and we welcome the new ones, together on a new chapter for our café.

Please remember that cold food can be consumed on Level 1, 2 and 3, while Level 4 remains a no-food zone. Bottled and lidded drinks are allowed throughout the building. Following feedback gathered from students during March 2019, hot food is now allowed in the Library cafe after 18:00. Students are asked to keep the space tidy and place all rubbish in bins.
