Time Machines: Time Travellers
A special late event in connection with the exhibition, featuring live performances, music and film.
Start the evening with some creative crafts and make something to take away with you before you enter the Time Machines exhibition for a special interactive story show. Stories by H. G. Wells, Neil Gaiman, and Ursula K Le Guin will be brought to life with shadow puppetry and vintage audio, and you’ll get the chance to add your voice as the audience decides how the story ends. A pay bar will be available.
Created by Ark – an experimental live literature project to stage immersive short story shows in library spaces involving creative cross-arts collaborations. Twitter @arkshortstories or on Facebook.
Performances will commence at 6pm and 7.30pm. Tickets include entry to the exhibtiion, and are priced at £7.50 (£6.50 for concessions or £5 for under 30s). Visitors must be over 18 to attend.
