The consequences of hatred when left unchallenged

Amra Mujkanović is the daughter of Bosnian refugees. With three generations before her that survived concentration camps, from Auschwitz to Omarska, she has made it her life’s mission to share her family’s history in order to prevent such atrocities from ever happening again.

Amra is representing Remembering Srebrenica, a UK-based organization dedicated to tackling hatred and intolerance via educational programmes aimed at learning about genocide and its consequences.

Partnerships Officer at Remembering Srebrenica, Amra Mujkanović supports the national and regional boards of this organization and assists in the planning of national events during Srebrenica Memorial week. Prior to joining Remembering Srebrenica Amra completed her Bachelor Honours Degree in Festival and Events Management. She has represented Bosnian-Herzegovinians at various events across the UK and also sat on the Board of Remembering Srebrenica Scotland.
