Support from your Library during Easter term

Throughout Easter term and as we approach the exam period, we’re here to support you with your study needs and wellbeing.

Here at the Library, we know how important it is to be able to take a break from your studies to stretch your legs, take time away from screens, get some fresh air or to get a snack. We also know that our study spaces are in high demand, and we want to help by managing our spaces effectively.

Exam WellBEEing Offer

As we head into the start of the exam period, we’ve planned a few activities at Bill Bryson Library to help support you and your wellbeing during this busy and often stressful time.

Additional study spaces for Easter term

We have arranged additional rooms to be available to use as study spaces across the University campus during the Easter term.

Durham University Research Publications Policy

Durham University has published its Research Publication Policy as part of its commitment to support open and reproducible research. 

Upgrade to IT equipment in Silent Zone of Bill Bryson Library

Our Silent Zone PC Room and Disability Support rooms on Level 1 of Bill Bryson Library will be unavailable from Monday 27 – Friday 31 March.

PA replacement work at Bill Bryson Library

Replacement works will be carried out on the PA system in Bill Bryson Library from Tuesday 21 March to Friday 24 March. The works will take place overnight, starting from 5pm and finishing by 7.30am each day.
