Ancient Greek

The Museum houses a small but important collection of Ancient Greek ceramics including Attic black-figure and red-figure wares, as well as examples of Corinthian geometric pottery and vessels produced in the Greek colonies of Italy.

The collection also includes a selection of ancient Greek coins, in addition to a fine series of electrotype copies of numismatic masterpieces, produced by Robert Ready of the British Museum in the late nineteenth century.
