Snap into our museum and explore our Wild exhibition. Stag beetles are wonderful creatures with wonderful crown like antlers on their heads. Make your own mini stag beetle with beautifully decorated antlers.

Using materials from nature build your own mini nest. From twigs, feathers and leaves, you can even add some sparkle to it. Try to imagine which birds might live in your nest and what they might keep safely concealed beneath their feet.

The palace Green Library houses a superb exhibition. The Living on the Hills, 10,000 years of Durham exhibits are free to view and are well worth visiting.
