Exploring 1000 years of Durham history
Tuesday, July 27, 2021

Enjoy our new special exhibition exploring the rich prehistoric and Roman archaeology of Durham

Little gem

A very pleasing exhibit that is well worth taking a look at if you are in the cathedral district..

10,000 years of Durham - enjoyable visit

Really enjoyed my visit here. The small but well thought out exhibition displays a good balance of artefacts for each relevant period.

Relocated and much more modern

Now it is centrally located so is far more accessible.

A very interesting exhibition

The palace Green Library houses a superb exhibition. The Living on the Hills, 10,000 years of Durham exhibits are free to view and are well worth visiting.
