Inside the World Heritage Site Visitor Centre

The visitor centre will take you through the history of Durham and explore how the city has changed over the years.  

Visitors can discover the work we do to protect the buildings on our World Heritage Site and the unique and important collections of rare books, manuscripts and objects that they contain.  

You will also find out about the links between Durham and global World Heritage, including cultural and natural sites all over the world.
