Friends of Palace Green Library

Who we are

Established in 2012, the Friends of Palace Green Library supports the research, scholarship and outreach activities taking place at Palace Green Library.  We actively 

  • Promote the reputation of the Library and encourage interest in its buildings, collections and exhibitions 
  • Support the Library in its acquisition of rare books, manuscripts and other valuable items 
  • Support the conservation of the Library’s unique collection of rare books and documents 
  • Facilitate the learning and research mission of the Library by organising scholarly activities, including a lecture programme.

What we offer our members 

  • An annual programme of lectures, visits, displays of Special Collections material and other events 
  • A regular newsletter with details of recent acquisitions, insights into collections, reports on special projects, and Friends’ activities 
  • The opportunity to contribute to the work of Palace Green Library and support its collections.
