Make a Junk Journal Workshop

Saturday, 7 May 2022 , 14:30 to 16:30
Oriental Museum

A junk journal is a book made from found and recycled materials which can be used to record your ideas and inspirations. Junk journals can also be used as a travel journal, a place for keepsakes, a diary, sketchbook, or a gift for a special occasion.

Join us for a creative workshop led by artist Sarah Dodds of Interface Arts.

This workshop will enable you to construct a simple junk journal and start to add items to create pockets and tuck spots on the pages.

Materials

A basic pack with card, paper and ribbon will be provided along with a range of items you may wish to use to decorate your pages, but you may wish to bring the following items from your own stash if you have any you wish to include: photographs/images, lace, ribbon, buttons, stickers, stamps, movie tickets, keepsakes, etc.

Cost and Booking

£6 per person. This workshop is suitable for over 16s only.
