Support for teaching

Scan and Deliver

We are offering a new ‘Scan and Deliver’ service, initially for our academic staff, PGR and PGT students. Users will be able to request scans of chapters and articles available in print in the Bill Bryson library for individual research only. This will be through an online request form on Discover, where you can search our collections and resources. The request form will be available from Friday 3 July. (Please note: If you require items to be digitised for teaching purposes, follow the digitisation of library resources for reading lists guidance below).

Click and Collect

Our Click and Collect service will be available from Tuesday 14 July. Initially, this will be available to academic staff, postgraduates and researchers and will be extended to other users in August (more details to follow).

To submit your request, you will need to complete the Click and Collect form on our website – please note, this form will only be available from Tuesday 14 July.

Updating Reading Lists

The process for submitting requests pertaining to reading lists to the Library has changed this year. This is due to the impact of Covid-19 and to the implementation of Talis Aspire for maintaining online reading lists. Please visit for further information, instructions and guidance.

Please note

The information on this page is valid from 3rd July 2020 until further notice.
