Head of Archives and Special Collections: Judy Burg - Sub-librarian in charge of Durham University Library, Archives and Special Collections.
Responsible for fundraising and collection development and general management of the Palace Green Library and its collections, and the historic collections at Ushaw College.
Michael Harkness - responsible for the search room team, covering enquiries relating to our collections, reader services in the Search Room, general enquiries on local and family history, reprographics
Michael Stansfield – Senior Assistant Keeper and deputy manager of Special Collections, responsible for managing archive cataloguing programme for Durham University Archive, the medieval Cathedral Archives and the Local Studies collection. Covers antiquarian collections both in the University and Cathedral libraries and local history
Richard Higgins – responsible for IT including maintaining digital repository, web pages, catalogues etc. Covers maps, photographs and prints and miscellaneous manuscript and literary collections
Andrew Gray – responsible for running Cathedral Archives search room at 5 The College. Covers post-medieval Cathedral Archives, Durham Diocesan, Bishopric Archives and local and ecclesiastical history
Francis Gotto – responsible for the Sudan Archive, Abbas Hilmi II Papers and other Middle Eastern collections
Jonathan Bush - responsible for the Ushaw Archive and managing day to day operations at Ushaw Library
Danielle Westerhof – Rare Books Librarian, responsible for printed book collections to 1860
Carolyn Gaw - Exhibitions Assistant
Caroline Roberts – Digitisation Officer
Tony King – Senior Conservator, manages Conservation Unit
