University Library

Durham University Library is a member of several consortia, and this membership brings benefits to University members and also extends the resources of this Library to a wider group of users beyond the University. In addition to those listed on the Partnerships page, the Library belongs to several other schemes which support interlibrary access by University of Durham members. These schemes are described on our page for Visiting Other Academic Libraries.

The University Library is active in seeking funding from external sources to support specific projects, in the recent past notably via the Reseach Support Libraries Programme (RSLP), The British Library's Co-operation and Partnership Programme, the Heritage Lottery Fund, and other organisations and sources. Some of these are outlined on the Collaborative Projects page.
