Mrs Jane Wistow
Jane first joined the university in 1994, completing an undergraduate degree in Sociology. She returned in 2004 and gained the Master of Social Work Degree (with Distinction) and Master of Research Methods (with Distinction) and has since undertaken doctoral research into young peoples participation in services for children in need and worked on various research projects, including 'The Virtuous Patient' and a Joseph Rowntree Foundation funded project looking at a local extra-care housing initiative. She has also practiced in voluntary and statutory agencies.
Jane currently convenes the Social Work in Context Module and teaches across other MSW Programme modules.
