Choral Society and Durham Opera Ensemble present: Mendelssohn's 'Elijah'

Durham University Choral Society return to Durham Cathedral to present Mendelssohn’s Elijah, in partnership with Durham Opera Ensemble, under the leadership of Nathan Smith. We are thrilled to collaborate on Mendelssohn’s ever-popular oratorio, of which will be an exciting opportunity for both societies to showcase one of the greatest pieces in the choral repertoire. Undoubtedly the composer’s most famous and adored choral work, its delightful charm and rousing choruses never fail to bring joy to all those who experience the beauty of this irresistible work.
