'The Tent' will be situated on the Racecourse, on the banks fo the river Wear, the site of Durham University’s Cricket Ground and playing fields.

This summer, 'The Tent' aims to kickstart and revitalise Performing Arts, as well as the Wider Student Experience at Durham University. It will be housing a whole host of events from the nationally recognised Durham University Charity Fashion Show to Opera, Gospel and A Cappella performances to Dance and theatre. Plus - Community Days for all the family, all run by student groups from across the university and delivered withing Covid Safety guidelines.

After a year of restrictions, lockdowns and everything else that comes with a global pandemic, our students could not be more excited to get back to running the events that they are passionate about.
