Students give big to help charities at Christmas

Charity representatives receive donated gifts under a Christmas Wish Tree

Gifts donated under the Christmas Wish Tree

Well done to all students who have helped any of the Christmas charity appeals we’ve run over the past few weeks.

Among the charitable projects students have supported are:

  • A Christmas Wish Tree in the Bill Bryson Library, which has seen staff and students donate gifts to three local charities;
  • A food drive for the charity Feeding Families;
  • A collection for Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas appeal;
  • A socks and underwear appeal for local homelessness charity Sanctuary 21; and
  • With Durham for Refugees, a collection of everyday essentials for refugees and asylum seekers.

Thank you for you generosity, and have a great Christmas!
