(9 February 2021)

Durham Business School at Night

The Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2021 has ranked the Durham MBA (Full-time) 1st in the UK, 2nd in Europe and 6th in the world for value for money. This reveals the exceptional return on investment our full-time MBA graduates are realising, as they have seen, on average, an increase of 86% on their salaries three years after graduating with their MBA.

Professor Susan Hart, Executive Dean, Durham University Business School:

“This excellent result demonstrates the School’s dedication and commitment to providing an outstanding, inclusive business education for all. The ranking displays how our Full-time MBA graduates have, on average, effectively increased their salary from before the programme to three years after graduating. Our alumni will continue to enrich and shape society and business across the world.”

This prestigious ranking also placed the Durham MBA (Full-time) 1st in the UK for alumni satisfaction and 3rd in Europe. This shows the overall satisfaction of our alumni with the programme and their overall experience at the Business School.

Professor Julie Hodges, Associate Dean for MBA and DBA Programmes:

"The School works hard with current students, alumni and industry connections, including our advisory boards, to ensure our programme delivers what future business leaders need in terms of knowledge and skills. The ranking demonstrates how the Durham MBA enables our students to enhance their capabilities and expertise required in a continuously changing world."

The Durham MBA transforms careers, enhancing key business and leadership capabilities. Our programme offers three pathways of Entrepreneurship, Consultancy and Technology, meaning students can tailor their studies to be specific to their career ambitions, and can choose the length of their programme to be either 12 or 15 months.

Durham is one of the UK’s longest-established business schools and carries the internationally recognised triple-accreditation of AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, placing it in the top 1% of business schools across the globe.
