Our Facilities and Equipment

Our teaching and research facilities include the Human Performance Laboratory, the Green Lane Research Laboratory, and the Green Lane Nutrition Laboratory.  These facilities support our taught programmes as well as undergraduate, postgraduate and faculty research while providing opportunities for collaboration within the university and with external partners.

The Human Performance Laboratory is housed at the Sports and Wellbeing Park at Maiden Castle which supports our undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes and provide opportunities for collaborative research within and external to the University.

A variety of aspects of human performance are tested, with an emphasis on the analysis of physiological and metabolic responses to exercise and nutrition in health and disease.

The human performance laboratory is outfitted for the testing and analysis of different aspects of physiological and metabolic responses to nutrition and physical activity.

The human performance laboratory serves as the department's teaching hub for practical teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate modules.

The Human Performance Laboratory is located in Maiden Castle which has a number of sporting facilities available for students to implement during research or recreationally.

Green Lane Nutrition Laboratory

The Green Lane Research Laboratory and Nutrition Laboratory are located at Green Lane. These spaces are due to open for next academic year!
