Professor Elspeth Garman

University of Oxford, Department of Biochemistry

The Garman Group aim to enable the 3-D structures of more large biologically and medically important molecules to be found by making an impact on improving current methods in structural biology.

Professor Andrew Harrison FRSE

CEO Diamond Light Source

Andrew worked as an inorganic chemist and Professor of Solid State Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh before becoming CEO of the Diamond Light Source, the UK's national synchrotron source.

Professor Judith AK Howard CBE FRS

Durham University, Department of Chemistry

The single crystal x-ray crystallography group led by Judith has a wide range of materials-based research interests. These include experimental charge density analysis, in-situ srystallisation of liquids, ultra-low temperature crystallography, high pressure crystallography, software development, solid-state reactions, the study of non-linear optical materials, and magnetically interesting materials.
