Ustinov Annual Conference 2018

Citizenships to Achieve Sustainable Development: the role of Critical Global and Environmental Citizenships

The Ustinov Annual Conference provides an interactive and fun space for dialogue between students, faculty and practitioners to explore questions of global citizenship at the intersection of academic theory and real life practice. Participants of the 2018 conference are invited to present their work and engage in dialogue related to the role of global and environmental citizenship in achieving sustainable development.

The conference will begin on Friday 24 August with a three-course conference dinner at Durham Cathedral's Undercroft Restaurant. The main conference programme, including a keynote address, will take place at Ustinov College, Sheraton Park on 25 August with an optional fieldtrip, "Transformative, Environmental Pedagogies: the role of Nature Based Solutions" on Sunday 26 August.
