Visit Days

Information about the programme for our upcoming post-offer visit days can be found below.

Post-Offer Visit Day Wednesday 14 February 2018
10.30am – 12.00mid-day
On arrival please go to the Porters Lodge, which is at the entrance of the Castle on the left, where you will be met by a current Undergraduate Student of University College.

Post-Offer Visit Days 19-21 March 2018

Programme for those staying overnight on Monday 19 March 2018 or Tuesday 20 March 2018

2.00pm Candidates arrive and are shown to rooms by current students. Rooms are available from 2:00pm, (towels will be provided) Tours of College will be arranged, led by student guides.
2.00pm - 5.30pm Tours of the College by student reps for candidates.
6.00pm Introductory talk in the Great Hall with the Vice-Master & Senior Tutor, and Chaplain, followed by Q&A. Student reps will be on hand to answer questions.
6.30pm Dinner in the Great Hall with current students. Dress code - smart casual.
8.00pm Social activities in College, including a Quiz in the Undercroft Bar.

Arrangements for the following day (Tuesday 20 March or Wenesday 21 March 2017)

8.00am Breakfast in the Great Hall. After breakfast student representatives will take candidates to their departments (please check departmental programme for start times - most are 10am except Combined Social Sciences and Liberal Arts)
10.00am Check out by 10am, please remember to leave your keys when checking out.

The Vice-Master & Senior Tutor and Chaplain will be available for informal discussions, and will be happy to answer individual questions and discuss options.

Programme for those candidates who are unable to stay overnight


If you wish to visit the college, arrangements are as below:

(Tuesday 20 March and Wednesday 21 March)

2.00pm Short talk for prospective students and parents in the Senate Room with the Vice-Master & Senior Tutor, Dr Richard Lawrie, and our College Chaplain (Ric Whaite). Light refreshments will be provided.
2.30pm - 4.00pm College Tours with student guides, (meet outside the Porters Lodge)

The Vice-Master & Senior Tutor and Chaplain will be happy to answer individual questions and to discuss subject options.
