Music Room

There are two music practice rooms in Bailey Court and one room specifically for recording. We also have a boudoir grand piano of concert standard. The music practice rooms have recently been refurbished through the Music Department and the setting up of a Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). The rooms are available for all Castle students, as well as students of the Music Department. Both practice rooms have claviola pianos. The recording studio is open for use for any student with previous experience of using such equipment.

A key to the Music Practice Rooms is available from the Porter's Lodge - but there are some guidelines which must be adhered to - see the downloadable document below Music Practice Rooms: Code of Practice.

We have recently purchased a lot of lighting and sound equipment for drama and concerts. We also have a workshop for those who are interested in the technical side of things.
