Critique

A Durham University Philosophical Society publication

Critique is a student led philosophy journal based within the thriving Durham University Philosophical Society. It offers a platform for articles written by undergraduates and postgraduates within and beyond the philosophy department. Previous articles have been written by not only philosophers, but natural scientists, theologians and physicists. Durham's members of staff have also offered contributions.

We welcome submissions via our website dups-critique.com or email dups.critique@gmail.com. Criteria for submission of essays is that they are under 5,000 words in length and must have received a first-class (or very high second-class) grade. As for other contributions (poems, short stories, blog posts etc.) the word limit is the only criteria. The journal is now accepting short-form content for the website too, details of which can be found on our website and social media accounts. Be sure to follow the journal's Twitter https://twitter.com/DUPS_Critique and 'Like' us on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/critiquejournal/ for updates on future issues.

Charles Harry Smith: “As Editor-in-chief for the academic year 2017/18, I ensure that Critique offers students the opportunity to get their original ideas refined and published, through both our research seminars and regularly published journal issues"
