Prehistoric Pioneers

Tuesday, 6 August 2019 , 13:00 to 15:00
Palace Green Library

Come and see our Museum Studies students’ exhibition in the Museum of Archaeology. Explore life in ancient Britain, from warfare to rituals, and the new way Bronze Age people buried weapons and treasure in hidden hoards. Curated by the MA Museum Studies students, this exhibition gives a face to prehistoric people and challenges the idea these were ‘primitive’ societies.

All activities drop in 1-3pm (unless specifies) and are included in normal admission prices. Activities are generally suitable for children 5-11 years, children must be accompanied by an adult.
