+What programmes for visiting students does the University offer?

STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMME: This programme allows students to study at Durham University for one academic year on a fee-paying basis. The programme is only open to undergraduate students enrolled at overseas (non-EU) universities.

OVERSEAS EXCHANGES: We have signed student exchange agreements with universities in the USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. Students from our partner institutions can come to Durham and study with us for a full academic year.
The Durham Business School has some additional exchange agreements. Please contact them directly for details.

ERASMUS: Durham has also been a long-term participant in the ERASMUS programme, an exchange programme under the auspices of the European Commission, and receives approx. 150 exchange students from EU partner universities per year.

Postgraduate students who wish to undertake short research visits should initially enquire with the respective department directly.
