Important Visa Information: From 31st July 2018, students applying for Canadian study permits will be required to travel to London to complete a bio metrics register. The High Commission in London has advised that the minimum time for turn around of visa's is two months. For more information, please follow the link below:

Queens University may restrict incoming exchange students by faculty.
Faculty of Arts and Sciences. This faculty includes:
- Computing
- Life & Physical Sciences
- Humanities
- Creative Arts
- Languages
Faculty of Science and Applied Science. This faculty includes:
- Engineering
- Chemistry
Students should be aware that not all courses may be available to exchange students. Your course choices will be submitted to the relevant academic advisor at Queens for approval and then on arrival, you will register for those you have been approved for.

Requirements/Restrictions
Queens University limits the areas in which they will accept Durham students.

Language Requirement
The language of instruction at Queens is English. If you are non native English speaker, you may be required to provide evidence of language ability.
Accommodation
Exchange students have a wide variety of housing options to choose from at Queens. There are residence halls and off campus housing available. Queens has designated buildings at Jean Royce Hall that are available to exchange students. Rooms are assigned by computer lottery and are not guaranteed. There are optional meal plans available.

Other Information
Students may be required to submit a medical certificate along with an application.
Students are required to enrol in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP). This is compulsory and costs roughly $408 for the year.
