Important Visa Information: From 31st July 2018, students applying for Canadian study permits will be required to travel to London to complete a bio metrics register. The High Commission in London has advised that the minimum time for turn around of visa's is two months. For more information, please follow the link below:

Requirements/Restrictions

Students accepted at UG level are not permitted to take PG courses under any circumstances. There are some course restrictions for exchange students.

Language Requirements

The language of instruction at McMaster is English. If you are non native English speaker, you may be asked to provide evidence of language ability.

Accommodation

There are many accommodation options for exchange students, although accommodation cannot be guaranteed. Incoming students choosing to live in one of the 12 residences on campus would usually be placed at Bates residence however, some students choose to live off campus. Students are required to enrol in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) prior to arriving at McMaster. This would cost roughly $430 for the full year.
