Important Visa Information: From 31st July 2018, students applying for Canadian study permits will be required to travel to London to complete a bio metrics register. Application Deadlines

  • Fall only or full year sessions - November 1 to May 1
  • Winter only - June 1 to October 1

Requirements/Restrictions

The following courses among others are not open to exchange students:

  • courses offered by professional faculties that are restricted to degree candidates within their programmes
  • research project courses and thesis courses
  • special topics courses

Language Requirements

The language of instruction at McGill is English. If you are a non native English speaker, you may be required to provide evidence of language ability.

Accommodation

Some places in on campus availability may be available for exchange students. Priority is given to first year McGill students. An online application is required.

Other Information

There are some International Scholarships available for students looking to study in Canada. These are provided through the Canadian government and not via McGill or Durham University.
