Frequently Asked Questions
Will it make a difference which college I choose?
All of our colleges strive to achieve a well balanced, diverse community with students coming from a variety of backgrounds and countries and studying in all departments of the University. However, colleges have different strengths and interests with regards to the extra-curricular activities that take place in them. For example, some colleges might be particularly strong in sport, drama, music or art. It is therefore recommended that you research your college choice carefully to ensure you join a community that is best able to provide an outlet for your interests and pasttimes.
Decisions to accept applicants are made by academic departments and therefore if a department accepts your application there will be a place for you as a member of one of our colleges.
