Commonwealth Open Awards PGT (1 Year); PhD (3 Years)

Mostly middle to low-income Commonwealth countries.

Commonwealth Shared PGT (1 Year)

Bangladesh, Cameroon, Eswatini, The Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Zambia.

Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships (for low and middle-income countries) PhD - candidates to spend up to 12 months at a UK university as part of their doctoral students in their home country. Applicants who are citizens of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
CONACYT - Durham Scholarships Masters (1 Year) & PhD (Up to 3 years) PhD applicants invited as a priority.

Mexican nationals.

Durham Palestine Educational Trust PGT (1 Year)

Palestine - previous study or previously active in student or community life in the West Bank or Gaza.

Fullbright-Durham University PG Award PGT (1 Year) or PGR (1st Year) The USA.
Lioness PGT Female students from Developing countries.
Marshall PGT (2 x 1 Year) The USA.
Marshall Sherfield Fellowship Post-doctoral research for a period of one to two academic years at a British University or research institute. The USA.
Ruth First Scholarship PGT (1 Year) Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
SAID Foundation Scholarships 1 Year PGT or Masters' degrees by distance learning
