Graduate Attributes

We are in the process of reviewing Durham’s current set of Graduate Attributes, updating them to fit the University ethos. We have reached out to alumni, students and staff for suggestions, asking them what vital attributes their time at Durham helped them to develop. Our final list of Graduate Attributes will ensure that Durham University continues to produce exceptional graduates. In the pilot, we are using a condensed list of the current Durham 'Skills to Succeed':

Sound Thinking & Agile Learning

Personal & Professional Effectiveness

Citizenship & Responsibility

Critical analysis

Ethical sensitivity

Research capability

Cultural awareness

Independent learning

Emotional intelligence

International & local perspectives

Innovation and creativity

Adapting to Change

Environmental understanding

Branding Exercise

We are working with design agency Curious12 to review the brand, and will be using feedback from students, staff, and alumni in this process. This brand consultation exercise is seperate, but complimentary, to the overarching Student Consultation on the programme design. If you have an interest in being in a branding feedback group please email to express an interest!
