As conference administrator my particular roles and responsibilities include:
- Liaising with Event Durham to ensure lecture rooms are booked, accommodation and catering are available and the conference registration page is set up.
- Organising and attending conference committee meetings.
- Using the EasyChair conference system to collate abstracts and create a conference programme.
- Organising the conference dinner and wine reception.
- Managing the conference budget.
All other duties associated with organising an academic conference.
