As conference administrator my particular roles and responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with Event Durham to ensure lecture rooms are booked, accommodation and catering are available and the conference registration page is set up.
  • Organising and attending conference committee meetings.
  • Using the EasyChair conference system to collate abstracts and create a conference programme.
  • Organising the conference dinner and wine reception.
  • Managing the conference budget.

All other duties associated with organising an academic conference.
