Centre for Medical Humanities Seminar Series: 'AIDS Rage: Paranoia and Anger in Music about AIDS,' by Dr Paul Attinello
Dr Paul Attinello is Senior Lecturer in the International Centre for Music Studies at Newcastle University; he has also taught at the University of Hong Kong and at UCLA. He has published in the Contemporary Music Review, Radical Musicology, the Journal of Musicological Research, Musik-Konzepte, Musica/Realtá, the revised New Grove, and a number of reference works and collections, including the groundbreaking Queering the Pitch: The New Lesbian & Gay Musicology. Current projects include a monograph on music about AIDS and books on Gerhard Stäbler and Meredith Monk.
