Heating the Human Climate
A free public lecture organised by the Centre for Cultural Ecologies, with the author of Engaging with Climate Change: Psychoanalytic and Interdisciplinary Perspectives.
A Fellow of the British Psychoanalytical Society (BPAS), a Chartered Clinical Psychologist (BPS) and a founding member of the Climate Psychology Alliance (CPA), Sally edited the influential book, Engaging with Climate Change: Psychoanalytic and Interdisciplinary Perspectives in 2012. She will speak about the complex psychology underlying our responses to climate change: how do denial and disavowal function in the context of climate change, and how do we learn to care?
Everyone is welcome to attend and booking is not required.
