Paul Muldoon reads WB Yeats
You are warmly invited by the Centre for Poetry and Poetics to attend a special reading of the poetry of W. B. Yeats by Paul Muldoon, to mark the 80th anniversary this month of Yeats's death.
Paul Muldoon has published over thirty collections and won a Pulitzer Prize for Poetry and the T. S. Eliot Prize. He held the post of Oxford Professor of Poetry from 1999 to 2004. At Princeton University he is both the Howard G. B. Clark '21 Professor in the Humanities and Founding Chair of the Lewis Center for the Arts. He has also served as President of the Poetry Society and Poetry Editor at The New Yorker.
Paul was the Durham Book Festival Laureate in 2013 and we are delighted to welcome him back to read in the Chapter House of Durham Cathedral once again.
Tickets are free but booking is essential via Eventbrite.
