Abeer Al-Mahdawi, is a PhD candidate at Durham University. Her thesis is about eschatology in modern American poetry concentrating on the Confessional Poets like Robert Lowell, Sylvia Plath, Randall Jarrell, Anne Sexton, Elizabeth Bishop and John Berryman.
