Blitzed: British Women’s Poetry of the Second World War
An MA research seminar.
Across the 2013-14 academic year the Department of English at Durham University will host a series of informal lunchtime seminars for MA students led by current PhD researchers in their second year or beyond. The organisers, Nicoletta Asciuto and Nicole Bush, are keen that the series both showcases the exciting doctoral research being undertaken in the Department and appeals to the various MA pathways available at Durham: Medieval and Renaissance Literary Studies; Romantic and Victorian Literary Studies; Twentieth-Century Literary Studies; and Studies in Poetry. We hope that the seminars will give MA students an insight into the nature of postgraduate research and offer discussion relevant to their degree work.
