Sitting at the heart of Durham's World Heritage Site and occupied continuously since the 11th century, the Castle is now home to the students of University College, part of Durham University.
To ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and visitors, our museums, galleries and Botanic Garden will remain closed until early 2021. Castle Tours are now cancelled until this time. Stay in touch on Facebook.
