DCAD’s Academic Excellence Team are here to support all staff and discuss any aspect of your teaching and student learning. We offer a wide range of support - everything from informal chats to full courses and cover a broad range of topics including:

Researcher Development

Academic Development

We support the enhancement of teaching and learning through our Durham Excellence in Teaching and Learning Awards (DELTA) leading to HEA fellowship from Advance HE and an open workshop program.

Teaching Evaluation

Through our Evaluation for Teaching Excellence Toolkit we provide research informed approaches to allow you to evolve and enhance your teaching. Access the toolkit via our resourcebank.

Postgraduate Teaching Induction

All postgraduate researchers undertaking teaching at the university are required to complete this teaching induction programme.

Research Supervision Handbook
